The compatibility of career and family is a central component of our institute´s culture. We aim to make our working conditions family-conscious and life-phase oriented. That´s why, we offer a range of support options:

In 2013, we were awarded the berufundfamilie audit certificate for the first time. We successfully defended it in 2016.

In addition, the LIN is also involved in the KitaPlus network office of the City of Magdeburg and helps promoting the idea of reconciling work and family life - most recently, for example, at the Demography Congress of the State of Saxony-Anhalt where Thekla Thiel was invited to a panel discussion as Administrative Director.
