Student internship at the Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology
The LIN invites all pupils with a special interest in Neuroscience to apply for an internship. Currently we have not announced any internships. As soon as a new application period begins, you will find all the information you need for your application here.

How will the internship be organized?
In short lectures and seminars participants will learn more about the contents of the experiments. Supervised by experienced technicians, the trainees can deepen their new knowledge experimentally in the LIN laboratories.
Participants will visit the EEG laboratory and measure brain waves, stain nerve cells and observe them under the microscope, analyse DNA or proteins, observe flies during learning and get to know brain’s networks responsible for memory.

All pupils who are at least 15 years old at the beginning of the internship and are interested in learning and memory research can apply.

Nice to know
We will inform you if you are one of the selected students. The internship is free for you. However, you have to pay for travel costs and catering.
