We have some good news for all of us: LIN has once again received the audit berufundfamilie certificate with distinction. This award recognises our long-standing commitment to achieving a good work-life balance. This is the second time we have received special recognition for this.
The certificate represents quality and reliability. It demonstrates our commitment to understanding and addressing the needs of our employees, and to improving our working conditions. We first received the award in 2013. Since then, we have regularly reviewed and improved our offerings, and continue to do so.
In recent months, we have worked intensively on our work culture and undergone the audit dialogue process, which is open to employers with a strategic personnel policy promoting work-life balance for at least nine years. The dialogue process aims to maintain the high level of development of family- and life-stage-conscious personnel policy, while exploiting the potential for optimisation in selected areas. In short, we aim to secure what is good and implement new ideas that will further facilitate our everyday lives. In three years' time, we will review our progress in the next dialogue process and continue to develop.
Many colleagues are already benefiting from specific offers:
- flexible working hours and the option to work in different locations.
- family-friendly planning of internal appointments and events.
- there is also the option of part-time work with the possibility of returning to full-time work later.
We are currently taking things a step further. We are strengthening trust within the team by demonstrating clear commitment from management and establishing clear responsibilities. We are also expanding the information and support available for caring for relatives. Managers will have additional opportunities for training and networking to improve cooperation even further.
