On 29 August, the central administration office of the Leibniz Association and the Careers Office at LIN are jointly organising a career day tailored to the needs of our PhD students. This day demonstrates our commitment to actively promoting and supporting the professional development of our early career researchers.

The participants will travel together to Berlin, where an extensive career planning programme awaits them. They will get to know the Leibniz central administration office, the Leibniz PhD Network and learn about the opportunities offered by the Leibniz Mentoring Programme. At the meeting with alumni, tips and experiences can be exchanged. The day will be accompanied by the managing directors of the LIN, Stefan Remy and Torben Heinze. The personal discussions on career planning with the participants will also inspire their work.
At the end of the day, the group from the LIN will visit the exhibition The Brain in Science and Art at the Charité's Museum of Medical History. While our PhD students know how detailed the map of the brain can now be drawn, where perception, sensation, memory and thought are located, they can get to know artistic positions here that interpret the brain as a projection surface for humanity in all its dimensions in a highly knowledgeable, creative and subjective way.

We are proud to support such events, which promote both the professional and personal development of our scientists in qualification phases. The promotion of our young scientists is a priority for us and we are constantly working to create the best conditions for their success.
