In the latest edition of the "Hörsaal" podcast, presented by Dlf Nova as part of the "Wissen unplugged" series, experts from various disciplines delve into the complex topic of love, always grounded in solid scientific expertise.

The event, which is part of a collaboration between the ZEIT Bucerius Foundation, the Leibniz Association, Holtzbrinck Berlin, Deutschlandfunk Nova and ZEIT Campus, presents groundbreaking findings and debunks popular love myths.

Our colleague Sanja Bauer Mikulovic confidently asserts that the monogamous relationships of prairie voles can provide insights into human emotional bonds. While we cannot apply the findings of prairie voles one-to-one, their behaviour can provide insight into human love life.

Johanna Degen, social psychologist at the European University of Flensburg, and Nils Pickert, author and journalist, will expand the discussion to include social psychological and societal perspectives on love.

In conversation with the three experts, the two presenters Rahel Klein and Amna Franzke present new views on love itself, free from the clichés and stereotypes that often persist.
