Sculpture "Das schnelle Vergessen" donated to the LIN

The artist Heinz Winkler from Ahlen has donated his sculpture "Das schnelle Vergessen“ to the Leibniz Institute for Neurobiology. LIN director Prof. Dr. Eckart Gundelfinger gladly accepted the generous gift. The sculpture will be placed in the institute’s  atrium.

Inspired by a documentary about Alzheimer's disease, Heinz Winkler expressed the process of forgetting in his art. Like most of Winkler’s sculptures and installations, this piece was made of concrete.
